The GM Vehicle Safety team, dedicated to addressing recalled vehicles under the General Motors umbrella, needed a fresh perspective on effectively and successfully targeting their most challenging audiences.
The Takata Airbag recall, addressing the faulty airbag system prone to exploding under long-term heat exposure,
is one of the most significant recalls impacting GM and its drivers. Despite the warnings, many vehicle owners continue to drive without responding to GM’s current messaging.
My goal on the team was to create communication that not only captured and maintained attention but also made scheduling a recall repair appointment as straightforward
as possible, ensuring vehicle owners could complete their repairs and contribute to safer roads.
